Ubisoft Forward live stream is taking place today, with the start time for the digital games showcase fast approaching. At 8pm BST the French gaming giant will be holding their E3-style showcase which will reveal more on the blockbuster titles the dev and publisher have up their sleeves. Far Cry 6 – which Ubisoft shared a teaser for on Friday – is set to be one of the big reveals, while we’ll also see more on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Watch Dogs Legion and upcoming battle royale shooter Hyper Scape will also feature during Ubisoft Forward while there will also be a “few surprises” in store.
It remains to be seen whether any of these “surprises” could be a new Splinter Cell or Prince of Persia game, or whether that’s unfortunately just wishful thinking.
Giving a taste of what fans can expect from the event, the official Ubisoft Forward website said: “Join the celebration with Forward! Ubisoft’s first all-digital conference is right around the corner, streaming live on July 12.
“Stick around for the main show at 12:00 PM PDT/9:00 PM CEST for details from Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, Hyper Scape, and a few surprises.
“The stream kicks off at 10:30 AM PDT/07:30 PM CEST with news and content from games like Trackmania, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Just Dance 2020, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, and more.”
If you watch to tune into the live stream then you’ll be able to do so via a number of different channels.
The E3-style event will be streamed on the official Ubisoft Forward website, on Twitch Gaming and on YouTube.
As an extra reward if you tune into the Ubisoft Forward stream then you will also be able to receive a copy of Watch Dogs 2 for the PC entirely for free.
Outlining how this scheme works in a support page FAQ, Ubisoft said: “If you are joining us on our official website or through Uplay, make sure you log into the Ubisoft account you would like to receive the game on.
“If you are joining us on Twitch, make sure your accounts are SET UP to receive TWITCH DROPS.”
Your free copy of Watch Dogs 2 will then become available the day after the event (Monday July 13).

Two of the biggest announcements from the Ubisoft Forward event will surely be the grand unveiling of Far Cry 6 and an update on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Ahead of the Ubisoft Forward stream the Hong Kong PlayStation Store earlier this week leaked the existence of Far Cry 6.
Another big announcement should be the reveal of more details on Watch Dogs Legion.
The third Watch Dogs game was originally meant to launch in March before Ubisoft later announced a release date delay.
We haven’t seen anything on the UK-based Watch Dogs game in awhile, so it will be interesting to see how it’s come along since its E3 2019 showing.
It’s also rumoured that during Ubisoft Forward it will be announced that the latest battle royale shooter Hyper Scape will be available to play.
Hyper Scape has been undergoing a technical test recently but is rumoured to launch on PS4, Xbox One and PCs on Sunday July 12.
