Tottenham 2-1 Arsenal player ratings: Gunners duo score 5 as Spurs hero gets an 8

Tottenham earned a comeback victory against Arsenal in the north London derby.

Alexandre Lacazette fired the Gunners into an early lead with a brilliant strike from the edge of the box, which set the tone for the match.

Mikel Arteta’s men failed to hold on to the lead for more than three minutes, however, as Son Heung-Min picked up a sloppy pass from Sead Kolasinac and beat Emiliano Martinez.

Arsenal pushed for the winner in the second half but Toby Alderweireld’s late header settled the contest.

Express Sport brings you the full player ratings for both teams.

TOTTENHAM (4-4-2)

LLORIS 6 No chance with cracking Lacazette goal – otherwise kept his defence in reasonable shape.

AURIER 5 Always seems to have a lapse in concentration in him. Crossing lacked quality, too.

ALDERWEIRELD 8 Strong presence in the heart of the Spurs defence and tall in attack when it matters.

SANCHEZ 5 Still looks a little short of what is required in the Premier League. Arsenal movement troubled him.

DAVIES 6 Unlucky with 30-yard scorcher that Martinez tipped onto the woodwork. Sound defensively.

SISSOKO 6 Mourinho only trusts him with a wide running role but he struggles to get involved.

WINKS 6 Tidy enough in midfield and worked tirelessly but needs to be more inspirational.

LO CELSO 7 Provides that little bit of guile Spurs could do with more of since Eriksen’s departure.

SON 7 Took his goal brilliantly and always looked the most likely to unsettle the Arsenal back three.

MOURA 6 Pace on the counter attack always looked a threat but got too little support in time.

KANE 6 Looked sharper than on recent outings but still being made to feed on too little scraps.
