Tekashi 6ix9ine Jokes That He’s Surprised He Hasn’t Been Killed Yet

Tekashi 6ix9ine hasn’t been in the headlines as much as he normally is for the last few days, but the rapper recently came out to make a shocking claim – about himself.

Hot New Hip Hop reported today that the 23-year-old performing artist has continued in his usual style: colorful visuals on social media and his favorite past time, trolling, just for the laughs. Reportedly, Tekashi 6ix9ine will be off house arrest sometime soon.

XXL was the first to report on the rapper’s comments in which he said he was surprised that he hasn’t been killed yet. The outlet speculated on his mental state, suggesting he might be reconsidering his situation as the day becomes nearer and he’s finally a free man again.

This Saturday, on the 11th of July, an IG post from an anonymous social media user questioned whether Tekashi 6ix9ine would make his way out into the public eye once again following his release from house arrest.

Someone on the internet asked what the rapper would do when he finally gets away from home. Would he leave America and hide from his enemies for the rest of his life, or would he get back out in the streets of New York City?

Tekashi 6ix9ine joked on his account that he’s surprised he hasn’t been offed already. He went on to joke that being dead wasn’t so bad anyway because many people love to admire an artist after they’ve died. He finished off his post with the hash-tag, “#fakelove.”

Fans know Tekashi 6ix9ine isn’t exactly a favorite among the hip-hop scene’s elite. For instance, upon his release, many of the biggest rappers in the game called 6ix9ine a “rat” for telling the federal prosecutors what they wanted to hear during his racketeering case earlier this year.

6ix9ine, who clearly wasn’t feeling the love from his contemporaries anymore, gave up information on his former allies in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, a group that existed in relative obscurity before 6ix9ine got involved.

According to court documents, 6ix9ine participated in the gang for street credibility.
