Unfortunately, the interview didn’t go too smoothly as Julian took a swipe at the Sunday Brunch hosts as he admitted he couldn’t remember who was who. Tim begged the guest to “be kind” to him as he insisted he was always “hammered” by Julian when they spoke.
“Good morning! What a shame I’m not there on the corduroy sofa with you both,” Julian began.
Tim replied: “That’s how we feel too, we always enjoy your company in the studio.”
“Well you’ve made an effort for me,” Julian continued. “Did you go down the market for that T-shirt?”
Tim and Simon burst into laughter with the former noting: “Julian every time I talk to you, you hammer me.

Taking to Twitter to comment on the awkward moment, one viewer shared: “Love Julian Clary giving Lovejoy a good roasting on #SundayBrunch.”
Another added: “Loving @JulianClary ripping the piss out of Simon and Tim (or whoever they are!?) on #SundayBrunch. If he needs a hyena laugh voiceover for his audio books, I think Tim would do a fine job…”

Later on in the show, Julian helped the duo taste test a range of cheese and health and safety was a priority for Julian.
Before the tasting began, he was quick to ask fellow guess Moran why she wasn’t wearing a hair net.
Fortunately Morgan explained she didn’t need to as the cheese shop wasn’t open so she was able to wear her hair down.
