Tahj Mowry Writes Heartfelt IG Post Following Naya Rivera’s Disappearance – ‘My Sweet Nivera’

Tahj Mowry is devastated following the presumed passing of Naya Rivera, the Glee actress. On his Instagram account this week, the actor wrote a lengthy post in commemoration of the actress whom he referred to as his “first experience with love.”

Page Six picked up on the post from Mowry in which he referred to her sudden disappearance as a nightmare, noting that even calling it a “nightmare” was a massive understatement. Tahj said despite the grim outlook, he’s remaining positive and hopeful she’ll be found.

According to the outlet, Mowry and Naya first met while filming the 1990s situation-comedy, Smart Guy, and they dated from 2000 until 2004. Metro was the first to report that the couple broke up after four years of intermittent dating.

As it was previously reported, the 33-year-old actress disappeared on Wednesday after taking her 4-year-old on a trip to Lake Piru. She went for a swim with her child, but she never returned to the boat. Her son, Jose, said to investigators that when he came upon the vessel, she was nowhere to be found.

Since then, officials have been searching high and low for the actress, even using sonar technology to find her presumed remains. Currently, the police don’t believe it was a suicide and they don’t think foul play was involved.

Not long after her disappearance, The Daily Mail published photographs of her ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, holding their 4-year-old son, Jose, while walking back to their vehicle together. The Mail obtained a photograph of Ryan walking Jose back to his car, and the publication reported that the little boy looked happy and smiling.

Dorsey was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a black shirt as he walked his child to his car. Fans of the couple know that things weren’t always smooth between them.

For instance, reports of domestic violence between Naya and Ryan had been in the headlines on a number of occasions. Big Sean, whom she formerly dated, posted a meme on his social media account at the time of a little boy saying “I told you so,” possibly in reference to the actress’ supposed relationship with domestic violence.
