Carrie Underwood Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Mike Fisher In Sweet, Throwback Instagram Post

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this week, and they both shared emotional Instagram posts commemorating the occasion. Underwood opted for some awkward throwback pics of her and Fisher from middle school, while Fisher declared the only way to celebrate was “on a horse.”

In Underwood’s post, she shared two pics side-by-side of herself and Fisher from their early teenage years, along with a current pic of the couple.

“Hey you two crazy kids. Believe it or not, some day you both will become (slightly) less awkward, you’ll grow up to have pretty cool jobs, you’ll meet backstage at some girl’s concert, fall in love, get married, have two amazing boys, and live happily ever after!” wrote Underwood in the caption.

She went on to say that these past ten years have been “pretty incredible,” and she is looking forward to many, many more “without the bowl cuts.”

Fisher posted a pic of the couple riding horses together, and in his caption he wrote that the past ten years have been the best years of his life. He also looks forward to many more years by Underwood’s side.

“One of the greatest blessings from God is marriage!!” wrote Fisher. “It’s not always easy and it’s definitely taught me a lot about myself, my faults and the things I need to work on but man it’s been fun, and rewarding and keeps getting better. Love you @carrieunderwood #happyanniversary”

An insider recently told Us Weekly that Underwood and Fisher’s marriage is stronger than ever, and the couple is “in an amazing place right now.” The source explained that the Grammy winner and the former hockey star have enjoyed their time together during quarantine, and they have grown even closer.

The source dished that Underwood and Fisher have been keeping to themselves, but the singer is telling friends that she is doing “really well” during the lockdown and she is “really enjoying family time.”

Carrie Underwood married Mike Fisher in July 2010, and they are the parents of Isaiah, 5, and Jacob, 17 months. They recently revealed in their special Mike and Carrie: God & Country that they have learned from each other during their relationship, and they have “spirited discussions” about the things they disagree on.

However, at the end of the day, Underwood says that they love each very much, and their faith in God is the foundation of their relationship.
