While domestic leagues have already got themselves back underway, teams will once again turn attention to the Champions League.
At the time of the suspension for the coronavirus pandemic, there were still last-16 ties to conclude, including games involving Manchester City and Chelsea, who have to play Real Madrid and Bayern Munich respectively.
Friday’s draw will see teams still in competition learn their fate for the quarter-finals and semi-finals.
Due to the pandemic, Europe’s premier club competition will take place in Lisbon in a mini-tournament style event. Atalanta, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig are already through to the last-eight.
