Counting On – Jessa Duggar Promises This Video Of Ivy Jane Seewald Will Put A Smile On Your Face

Counting On star Jessa Duggar shares three kids with her husband, Ben Seewald – Spurgeon, 4, Henry, 3, and Ivy Jane, 13 months – and the little Duggars have taken over Jessa’s Instagram page during the COVID-19 lockdown. Over the past few months, Jessa has posted numerous pics and videos of the kids enjoying life while stuck at home, but the video she posted earlier this week of little Ivy Jane might just be the best one yet.

Jessa posted a video of her 13-month-old daughter singing Happy Birthday to herself while sitting in a pumpkin seat, and it’s beyond adorable.

“If you need something to put a smile on your face this evening, watch this 13-month-old sing happy birthday to herself. 💞 And then the shy face at the end when she realized I was videoing her. 😆” wrote Jessa in the caption.

In a previous Instagram post from mid-June, the Counting On star told her 2.2 million followers that Ivy has become obsessed with the song ever since she turned one-year-old in late May.

Jessa wrote that Ivy has been “in love” with Happy Birthday for the past few weeks, and she “toddles around the house singing ‘Happa-buh-to you.’” She added that her daughter’s singing skills were “just too cute.”

The proud mom also posted sweet pics of all three kids enjoying watermelon during the 4th of July holiday weekend. The series of photos featured all three kids in the family’s backyard and eating watermelon by the kiddie pool.

Duggar has also been using Instagram as a way to get parenting advice from her fans after Spurgeon decided he was done with afternoon naps. She recently posted a pic of her oldest son sitting on the couch next to a pile of books, and in the caption she asked her fans when they gave up on afternoon naps with their kids.

“To nap or not to nap— that is the question,” wrote Duggar. “Our 4.5 yr old will still fall asleep for an afternoon nap, but that usually makes bedtime a bit later. Sometimes we skip naptime and bump bedtime up.”

When Jessa Duggar gave Spurgeon the option to “grab a book and read for five minutes” while she put Henry down for his nap, she says she returned to the living room and found her oldest child had transferred “an entire shelf’s worth of books” to the couch beside him to avoid naptime.

Jessa gave in after Spurgeon declared he would read “all of these books,” and the mom and son sat on the couch together and read while Henry and Ivy Jane napped.
