Zach Braff Reveals Nick Cordero’s Heartbreaking Dying Wish Was For Him To Look Out For His Wife And Son

As you might have heard, Nick Cordero has sadly lost the battle with COVID-19 after more than three months in the hospital and many fellow stars as well as friends and fans have been paying their respects and posting tributes to the Broadway actor. That being said, Zach Braff is one of them and he actually got candid about Cordero’s final request to him, which is just heartbreaking!

Braff took to his platform of choice, Instagram, to share a black and white photo of Nick and his wife Amanda Kloots, and alongside it he wrote: ‘Nick Cordero passed at 11:40 am today with his wife and his mother by his side. I’ve honestly never known a kinder person. But Covid does not care about the purity of your soul, or the goodness in your heart.’

The two men had known each other since starring together in Bullets Over Broadway back in 2014.

Not only that but the play was really important for Nick since it earned him a Tony Award nomination in the Best Featured Actor in a Musical category and it was also where he met wife Amanda.

The two tied the knot in 2017 and in June of last year, they welcomed their son Elvis.

Zach went on in his post to reveal his friend’s dying wish: ‘The last thing he texted me was to look out for his wife and his one year old son, Elvis. I promise the world they’ll never want for anything. I feel incredibly grateful I got to have Nick Cordero enter my life. Rest In Peace. Rest in Power.’

This comes after Amanda Kloots’ post earlier today in which she confirmed that her beloved husband had lost the battle with the deadly virus the world is currently dealing with.
