Scott Baio and his wife Renee have been busy dealing with the aftermath of Nicole Eggert’s and Alex Polinsky’s 2018 allegations they were sexually and emotionally abused on the set of Charles in Charge. Scott Baio has been speaking out and releasing audio evidence that he says proves Nicole and Alex set him up and even named the plot “Takedown Baio.” Now, Renee did an interview where she discussed her marriage, her health, her family, and the scandal. Renee has made it clear from day one that she is standing by her man and doesn’t believe the allegations that Nicole and Alex made on social media and in a press conference. Brian Glicklich, Scott Baio’s public relations man, released a lengthy article that is the culmination of a two-year-investigation where he meticulously lays out Scott Baio’s defense against each and every allegation made against him.
Nicole Eggert has since put her Twitter account on private and Alex Polinsky hasn’t responded to Brian Glicklich’s article or Scott Baio’s many tweets declaring his innocence and straight out calling Nicole Eggert and Alex Polinsky liars. Now, Renee Baio is weighing in on the scandal against her husband and she described it as a “pay grab” and stated that Nicole was paid for every interview she gave whereas Renee said Scott refused to be paid for his Good Morning America appearance.
Renee specifically stated that Nicole Eggert would never get any financial gain from the Baios.

Scott Baio released a second audio recording featuring Alex Polinsky’s voice. Scott states the recordings were before Lisa Bloom held a press conference where Alex Polinsky and Nicole Eggert officially made their allegations public.
