Sharon Osbourne isn’t fond of the way that Kanye West celebrated his wife’s recent accomplishment, the St. Louis Dispatch reported. The 67-year-old television host recently came out to criticize the Ye rapper for celebrating his wife’s purported big win.
Osbourne referred to the rapper’s attitude as “gross.” When asked about the performing artist’s remarks, Sharon said to her co-hosts on The Talk that it wasn’t the “right time” to show off one’s wealth, but some people are going to do what they’re going to do anyway.
According to Osbourne, she has never been overly fond of bragging or celebrating one’s accomplishments publicly, whether there’s an ongoing pandemic or not.
Sharon said there was a time in the entertainment industry where people didn’t like talking about their accomplishments so publicly. There was an expectation of a certain level of humility.
As it was previously reported, Kanye took to his Twitter account in recent news to celebrate his wife’s alleged achievement of reaching the billionaire mark. Interestingly, it didn’t take long for Forbes Magazine to come out and say that Kim didn’t reach $1 billion in net worth yet.
Fans of the Kar-Jenner clan know that the family already has a complicated relationship with the magazine. Earlier this year, Forbes came out to retract their report in which they labeled Kylie Jenner as the world’s youngest self-made billionaire.
The title was very controversial on social media due to their designation of Kylie as “self-made.” Jenner later dropped a statement in which she accused Forbes of making a variety of unsubstantiated claims based on “unproven assumptions.”
Kanye has also experienced this with the outlet as well. Forbes once came out to say that they applied the same principle to Kanye as they do to Trump, which is to take their reported net worth and divide it into fractions.

Forbes also poked fun at the rapper’s previous pro-Trump remarks in which he publicly proclaimed his support for the controversial president of the United States.
