Samantha Giles, who plays Bernice, recently revealed she would have been more than happy if Emmerdale bosses had killed her character off.
The actress explained to Inside Soap: “If she had been killed, perhaps I’d have got a better exit story as it was a little disappointing,” she explained.
“I had quite a lot of people on Twitter saying that they felt a bit cheated by the way Bernice left, but it’s done now.
“You can’t please everyone!” Samantha added.
But could she be forced back to help find Gabby in upcoming scenes?
