Meanwhile, Aljaz went on to marry professional dancer Janette Manrara in 2017 and are now living together in their London home.
The couple who have been spending lots of quality time together during lockdown, have spoken on the financial impact of cancelling three tours due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Janette told Hello Magazine it has been financially “tough” losing their primary source of income, but said it had also been “nice” to spend more time at home.
She said: “I like the kitchen, I was never friends with the kitchen before and Aljaz has loved just taking time to himself, he hasn’t been online much.”
