Piers Morgan: GMB host lays into ‘woeful’ Boris Johnson ‘He doesn’t seem to have a clue'

Just before Boris appeared on LBC, Piers slammed the government’s travel policy during the COVID-19 outbreak.

While taking a dig at government ministers for “boycotting” GMB, he penned: “The Govt’s travel/quarantine policy during this pandemic, even by its own execrable standards of coronavirus mismanagement, has been a total fiasco. 

“The only thing they’re good at is boycotting TV shows that might ask them why they’re so incompetent.”

Piers cheekily told MPs to keep boycotting GMB last month because the ITV show’s ratings “have never been higher.”

He said on the programme: “The less we have government ministers, the more people tune in. Maybe don’t hurry back. Maybe we’ll see you in September.”
