Manchester United’s move for Jack Grealish appears to be moving forward. Express Sport understands the Red Devils target is already house-hunting in the North West ahead of his expected move away from Aston Villa this summer. And Tim Sherwood, who previously managed the 24-year-old, has now claimed a deal is already done.

“I think Jack Grealish is a deal which is already done,” Sherwood told Premier League Productions.

“He’s a player that they [Manchester United] need.

“I honestly believe there’s only one club for Jack Grealish.

Pushed further on his claim, Sherwood said it was inevitable that Grealish would move to United, adding: “I don’t think he can stay at Aston Villa, he needs to progress his career. I think he signs for Manchester United.”

While that will be news to United fans’ ears, not everybody will be happy.

So Express Sport looks at three players currently at Old Trafford who could now leave should, as expected, Grealish seal a transfer this summer.

Andreas Pereira

United have stuck by Andreas Pereira this season, despite the Brazilian often being slammed by supporters.

But the Brazilian isn’t up to the standards the Red Devils, and Solskjaer, both expect.

He’s a good squad player but, if Grealish signs, he may have to quit the club in order to secure regular football elsewhere.

If that happens he’d have Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Grealish and Juan Mata all ahead of him in the pecking order.

Pereira has talked up Santos and they could swoop to snap him up when the transfer window reopens.

Juan Mata

Mata remains a good squad player for United.

But he’s approaching the twilight years of his career and the Red Devils wouldn’t stand in the way if he wanted to depart at the end of the season.

Grealish would plunge him further down Solskjaer’s pecking order, with the veteran not a regular under the Norwegian.

Mata could be tempted by a return to Spain.

But what ultimately happens remains to be seen, with Grealish still a Villa player for the time being.
