Peter Madrigal Wants More Airtime On Vanderpump Rules After His Co-Stars Were Fired

Peter Madrigal has been a staple on Vanderpump Rules since the beginning. However, over the past few years, he’s barely been featured on the show.

Madrigal is now looking to change that in the wake of his co-stars Stassi Schroeder, Max Boyens, Brett Caprioni, and Kristen Doute being fired.

Peter has been a fan favorite for quite some time. Other than his dashing good looks, he seems to be the opposite of the Jax Taylor persona. Viewers have always wanted a better look into his life which includes his aspirations of being a film director but he’s been seen less and less each season.

When asked why he isn’t on the series as much as the others, Madrigal explained that he actually manages SUR full-time and his boss, Lisa Vanderpump, doesn’t want him getting as messy as his castmates.

‘Lisa told me a few times, ‘Peter you’re the manager. Don’t get involved. You tell them what to do.’ You be a hard ass and don’t get involved in the petty b******.’ Here’s the thing, a lot of people are like, ‘Where’s Peter?’ Peter is full-time at SUR and full-time on the show. I don’t have any time. I don’t even date anymore,’ he explained to Showbiz Cheatsheet.

Peter recently had a guest spot on the #Nofilter with Zack Peter podcast where he was asked if he wanted to take on a bigger role.

‘Absolutely, yes. Taking over the show? No. Yeah, I definitely want to return. Yes, absolutely.’

He went on to say that the show’s true star will always be LVP.

‘You cannot replace Lisa. I’m sorry, no. Never! I would never want to replace — no, it’s Vanderpump Rules for a reason, because Lisa is one fabulous woman.’
