Minecraft Dungeons Patch Notes for Jungle Awakens DLC reveals surprise price news

Fans can find out exactly what has changed in today’s Minecraft Dungeons update, with lots of new juicy content listed in the official patch notes.

As confirmed by Mojang earlier this month, the game’s first paid expansion has been released today.

Called Jungle Awakens, the new Minecraft Dungeons DLC includes fresh story missions to explore and enemies to fell.

The Dungeons expansion is available to buy across all platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

But one new detail listed in the patch notes will be pleasant news for fans who might be playing in a group who aren’t planning on buying the new DLC.

The good news is that if the host of a game session owns Jungle Awakens, players that do not own it can still join the host and play the new missions.

And all players will still be able to obtain new gear that is dropped, even if they don’t own the DLC.

But you will need to purchase Jungle Awakens if you want to play the new missions in your own game session.

Those who own Minecraft Dungeons Hero Edition or the Hero Pass Upgrade do not need to purchase Jungle Awakens or Creeping Winter again.

However, each DLC pack can be purchased separately if you do not have Hero Edition or Hero Pass.

Minecraft Dungeons: Jungle Awakens is priced at around $5.99 in the United States, or 4.99 if you live in the UK.
