Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards can sculpt transfer plans around two dates

Liverpool may have had their plans to recruit disrupted but the Reds are already now looking at a much clearer picture in the market. It has been suggested that the new Premier League champions could be about to embark on a quiet transfer window.

The decision from the Confederation of African Football gives Liverpool an additional year to find a replacement in time for when they do eventually depart to represent their countries.

For now though, it could mean more opportunities for the likes of Divock Origi.

The Belgian is a Liverpool hero but has failed to kick in from a huge campaign last season in which he scored several crucial goals.

Rhian Brewster is currently scoring goals for fun for Swansea too and his name will surely be in the frame.

Takumi Minamino is set to receive more opportunities following his slow integration into the squad.

A second date that will also have huge bearing on the transfer window is October 5.

That is when the transfer window will close upon the request of UEFA.

It will also bide Liverpool additional time to let their finances recover from the lack of match-day income.

There is still every chance they could strike in the transfer market in the coming months.

Michael Edwards may have to raise some funds from the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Dejan Lovren if Klopp wants to spend.
