The teen actress got some unwarranted hate on social media but she did not waste any time before clapping back! Black-ish star Marsai Martin is just 15 years old but despite being just a child, she is already having her appearance criticized by trolls on social media!
Thankfully, instead of letting it get to her too much, Marsai decided to fire back after some users just felt the need to let her know they don’t like her hair and teeth!
The teenage star was in attendance at the BET Awards to introduce the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist award to Megan Thee Stallion.
She obviously looked great but trolls proceeded to comment on her appearance anyway, mocking her teeth and hair in nasty tweets.
Force to see the hate, Marsai addressed it from the comfort and safety of her own bedroom: ‘A lot of people have been addressing my hair and talking about my hair, and how it looks like a ‘grandma’s wig.’ And they’re talking about my veneers. I’m sorry to anyone I’ve offended or haven’t gotten to your expectations about how I’m supposed to be.’
The young actress mocked the haters by pretending she was really affected by their horrible tweets and fighting through the tears, only further showcasing her great acting skills.
‘I apologize. I never want to hurt anyone’s feelings or have anyone worry about what my decisions are,’ she went on to say before stopping to take a breath and even blow her nose in a $100 bill.
‘Ya’ll we’re in quarantine, and we’ve got more things to focus on than just my hair. Justice for Breonna Taylor,’ she concluded before turning off her camera.
