Nene Leakes is said to have absolutely been asked back to Real Housewives of Atlanta; however, she allegedly is still deciding whether she wants to sign her contract or not because she is pursuing other opportunities. Amongst talks about a spin-off and a brand new appearance on Celebrity Show-Off, Nene has been announced as an award show hostess.
After Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard, Nene is one of the first people thought of when reality TV is mentioned. This is why she has revealed that she will be hosting the Critic’s Choice Real TV Awards.
The RHOA queen took to Instagram to write: ‘No one knows reality tv better than me! Join me TOMORROW at 9am as i host the 2nd annual @criticschoice Real TV Awards at home. Watch on @Facebook and @YouTube to see some of your favorite reality stars/shows take their trophies. #RealTVAwards #CriticsChoice #lifeofnene.’
This comes after the news that Nene has big things in the works.
Her manager, Steven Grossman, told People: ‘It is absolutely not true that Nene has been fired from RHOA. [She is] having on-going bigger picture conversations with NBC Universal and have not made any decisions regarding next season specifically. Any speculation or sources trying to create controversy by stating otherwise are incredibly inaccurate. Bloop.’
He added that Bravo has made it very clear that she will always have a place on the Atlanta franchise.
A RHOA fan page posted about the news where fans gave their opinions.
One follower wrote: ‘The girls start picking up odd jobs when their contract is up for negotiation.’
Another suggested: ‘She should’ve been host of BET awards.’
