Ricky (played by Sid Owen) could be about to make a shock arrival in Walford as his daughter Tiffany (Maisie Williams) struggles to keep her marriage to Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) from falling apart. The young EastEnders couple have had a rough time with Keegan being racially profiled by police while his sandwich business has also been targeted. Tiffany just wants to help her husband but Keegan is struggling with life in EastEnders and has been pushing her away. Will Ricky rock up to help his daughter through this difficult time?
The last time Ricky was seen in Albert Square was in 2012 for Janine Butcher’s (Charlie Brooks) marriage to Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd).
However, it was mentioned in 2015 that he was living in Germany and had agreed for Liam (James Forde) to move over.
Not much has been mentioned about Ricky since then but with Bianca (Patsy Palmer) having turned up for Tiffany and Keegan’s wedding last year, could he arrive to help pick up the pieces when the marriage breaks down?
Hinting at a potential return for the character, actress Maisie said she’d love to have Sid back on set as her on-screen father.

“I’d love for Tiff’s dad Ricky to come back, and fight for that father role against Jack [Branning],” Maisie told Inside Soap.
“That would be quite a good little drama.”
She continued: “Patsy [Palmer] came back for a short spell last year, which was amazing, but Sid and I haven’t worked together in so long.
“It would be a completely different dynamic to see Tiffany and Ricky together again now she’s grown up – that would be very interesting to film.”
“That’s a big question I get asked all the time and my answer is always ‘never say never,’” Charlie explained.
“Janine was so, so fun to play, I was so lucky. I got so many opportunities to play different storylines… she was agoraphobic, she was a prostitute at one point.
“She had major family issues, relationships, married four times, none of those ended very happily – most of them ended in death!”
Charlie went on to note fans may be able to see a new side to Janine since she gave birth to daughter Scarlett.
