Damian Hurley has spent the Coronavirus quarantine at home with his mother, Elizabeth Hurley, and even celebrated his 18th birthday while under lockdown on April 4, 2020. Now, just two months into being 18-years-old, he is dealing with the suicide of his biological father Steve Bing. Bing leaped to his death from a 27th-floor building after battling depression on June 22, 2020. He left many people behind, including his son, Damian, whom he reportedly was never close to and in the early years, refused to acknowledge as his own child.
Known for looking exactly like his gorgeous mother, Damian finds himself at a strange place in life. In many ways, his life is just beginning. His modeling career was taking off before the pandemic hit and while he has seen many successes, the Coronavirus lockdown put a halt to many things that Damian enjoyed and took pleasure in.
Now, he is dealing with the suicide of a man whom he will never enjoy a real relationship with and that is heartbreaking.
As the news broke, Damian and his mother had remained silent. Elizabeth shared a photo slideshow on her official Instagram page where she chose to remember Steve Bing and the positive times they had together. She said that she and Steve last spoke on Damian’s birthday in April. It’s unclear if Damian spoke to him as well.
Damian shared a touching message to those who are reaching out to him during what he referred to as a “strange and confusing” time. You may see the post and message that he shared below.

What Damian is going through is heartbreaking and despite the reports that state Steve and Damian never knew each other, the pain and grief associated with losing a biological parent are real. Damian not only has the support of his close friends and family members but his fans as well.
