At the end of season four of Money Heist, Stockholm (played by Esther Acebo) begged The Professor (Alvaro Morte) to begin the process of getting the gang out of the Bank of Spain. As he began to set the wheels in motion, he was interrupted by Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) leaving the latest instalment of the Netflix series on a cliffhanger. As fans anxiously wait for the next run of La Casa De Papel, many have begun speculating how it will come to an end and one believes Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó) will be killed off.
Tokyo has been at the forefront of the series since it began and was the first character fans were introduced to.
While there is much speculation about her role in the robberies, with many fans believing she will be the sole survivor, one fan thinks she’ll be “killed” in season five.
Their theory however doesn’t involve the character actually dying – rather convincing the inspectors and police outside the Bank of Spain that she has been killed.
Reddit user jeffman980 points out The Professor has told the gang “you can not get out of there alive” if they are to escape the bank.

The fan therefore thinks the funeral for Nairobi (Alba Flores) was a test run for how The Professor will get the rest of the gang and the gold out of the bank.
They explained: “My theory is that although the funeral of Nairobi was to commemorate her death, there was another reason for the funeral.
“We already know that Gandia told Tamayo he had killed Tokyo as well as Nairobi, even though Tokyo is not dead.
“So we may see Tokyo’s “Funeral” in part 5, as a way to get the first member of the gang out of the Bank without being detected.
Unfortunately, there is a flaw in the theory. The Professor would have to be able to guarantee the police won’t look inside the coffin and discover Tokyo is actually alive.
If the police realised it was a decoy or part of a bigger plan, they could put a stop to the escape of the gang.
Furthermore, The Professor has already had to work hard to help rescue both Lisbon (Itziar Ituño) and Rio (Miguel Herran) from police custody so it’s unlikely he wants to have to do that again.
Meanwhile, the cast of Money Heist have thrilled fans with an insight to the show in Netflix special The Phenomenon.
