Emmerdale fans have watched as Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordely) has battled his feelings for his soon-to-be ex wife Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb), ever since ending their marriage last year. After Moira’s long-term affair with farm-hand and Cain’s estranged son Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), the Dingle bad boy hasn’t been able to forgive her for her betrayal.

But unfortunately for Cain, he can’t have his cake and eat it.
Making it very clear to his adulterous wife that they were over for good, Moira’s hope of a reconciliation with her husband went out the window.
And she can’t wait around forever in case he changes his mind.
Believing things between them really are done and Cain has lost all interest in her, Moira starts to liven her life up again after turning to booze when her affair was exposed.

Meanwhile, Cain has heard from sister Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) that his ex is developing interests in other people, leaving him utterly heartbroken.
