Sony is expected to announce its PS Plus July 2020 lineup soon, and there could be a special free bonus added on.
PlayStation Plus free games are usually announced a full week before they are released by the tech giant, although things have been running a little differently during 2020.
Last month saw Sony reveal its lineup on a Thursday, rather than a Wednesday, so it’s a bit harder to predict when July’s news will be announced.
The good news is that we can probably expect the big PS Plus free games reveal to happen close to the end of the month.
And this will be followed by those new PS4 games being added to the lineup on July 7, 2020, replacing Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Call of Duty WWII.
While those new July PS Plus games have not been leaked or revealed yet, we might know of another PlayStation bonus being worked on.
According to a new leak, a new Fortnite cosmetic bundle is coming to the PS Plus platform very soon.
This will reportedly include a new harvesting tool and add two new gliders to your account.
These cosmetic packs are pretty common for games that are free to play and don’t require a PlayStation Plus subscription.
It’s unclear when the Wavecrest, Sky Sail or Stratosphere will be made available on the PlayStation Store, but there’s a good chance it will be downloadable during July 2020.
It should be noted that like other Fortnite bundles, this one will be exclusive to those gamers with a PS Plus membership.
It will reportedly be released during Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3, which means it could be added to the game at any point during the coming months.
But as Season 3 of Fortnite just got underway, it would make for a great way to celebrate the big new update and map changes.
The last Fortnite PlayStation Plus Celebration Pack was added to the game back in April and is still available to download on PS4.
Other cosmetic packs can be found for games like Call of Duty Warzone, Warface and Path of Exile.
The June PS Plus games are also still available to download and will be free to download until July 6, 2020.
