Mike Tyson movie biopic: Jamie Foxx shares bodybuilding transformation and INSANE workout

Mike Tyson is one of boxing’s undisputed greats as the youngest ever heavyweight champion of the world at just 20-years-old. And now he’s getting the biopic treatment with Jamie Foxx playing him in an upcoming movie. The Oscar-winner, who has previously played Ray Charles, has been bulking up to Tyson’s heavyweight physique over the last few months.

Now Foxx has shared his gruelling workout and photos of his bodybuilding progress on social media.

Speaking on Instagram Live with Mark Birnbaum, the 52-year-old said: “What I’m doing right now is changing the body.

“So now, what I do every other day, I do 60 pull-ups, 60 dips, 100 press-ups, it’s changing the body, the top half.”

He joked: “‘I ain’t got no legs, I ain’t got no calf muscles, so we might have to get some prosthetics for that.”

“But I am prepared to get there! #swipeleft TYSON!”

On the movie-going ahead, Foxx said: “It’s a definitive yes.”

He continued: “Doing biographies is a tough thing.

“Sometimes it takes 20 years to get them done, but we officially got the real ball rolling.

“I think when we lay the layer of Mike Tyson in this story, I think everybody from young and old will be able to understand this man’s journey.”

Having won an Oscar for playing Ray Charles, perhaps he’s in for a chance with Mike Tyson?
