Xbox One bonus FREE game downloads: Celebrate Premier League return with free PES 2020

Xbox One owners can download three new games as part of the weekly Free Play Days promotion.

Available exclusively to Xbox Gold subscribers and Game Pass Ultimate members, Free Play Days gives fans the opportunity to download and play full games for free.

The only downside is that the free games are only available for a limited time, so it’s kind of like an old-school game rental.

You can play the free Xbox One games from now until 7.59am on June 22, so download now to avoid disappointment.

Coinciding with the return of the Premier League, this weekend’s headline Free Play Days release is eFootball PES 2020.

The Konami football game may not have as many official licenses as FIFA 20, but it does have exclusive UEFA Euro 2020 content.

If you don’t like football, then Microsoft has you covered with two other free game downloads for Gold subscribers.

This includes motorbike racer MotoGP 20, as well as the excellent Don’t Starve Together: Console Edition.

A true hidden gem for Xbox One, Don’t Starve Together: Console Edition is sitting pretty with a Metacritic score of 83% (on PC).

Don’t Starve Together: Console Edition features all of the hallmarks of a regular survival game – crafting, scavenging and monsters – but adds co-operative multiplayer.

“The standalone, multiplayer expansion of the wilderness survival game, Don’t Starve: Giant Edition, unravels the mysteries of a strange land full of odd creatures,” reads the official description.

“Gather resources, craft items, and endure on your own, with friends, or strangers online.”

MotoGP 20, meanwhile, features a managerial career mode with official teams and riders. Alternatively, you can create your very own team and custom events.

Improved graphics and realistic physics are on display in this complete MotoGP experience,” reads the official description.

“Fully customisable options and managerial career mode allow you to race with official riders or join a brand-new team.

“Relive MotoGP history against legendary professionals, create custom events, or challenge your friends in a multiplayer experience supported by dedicated servers.”

If you enjoy the games and want to continue playing, you can take advantage of a short-term discount on the Xbox Store.

PES 2020 is reduced to just £12.49 on Xbox One, MotoGP 20 costs £34.99 with the discount, and Don’t Starve can be yours for as little as £2.99.

All of your progress will carry over should you decide to purchase the games in full, so no need to start over again.
