Siesta Key Star Alex Kompos Fired For Using N-Word And Other Racial Slurs — Son Of Executive Producer Of The Show

Before Siesta Key premiered, Alex Kompos was already a problematic person. Between his consistent use of racial slurs and the video he appeared in where his friend brutally killed a shark — the reality star seemed to be able to get away with anything until now.

Alex, who was one of the main stars of Siesta Key, has been fired. This move seemed impossible considering that his father is an executive producer of the show.

However, the move was taken amidst networks firing their problematic stars.

Siesta Key’s Tuesday premiere was set to be two hours. But due to having to edit Alex out of the scenes, there was only 54 minutes’ worth of content aired.

The official Siesta Key account tweeted: ‘We’ve made the decision to cut ties with Alex and are editing the current season to minimize his presence. He will not be in future seasons of Siesta Key.’

After a viewer replied that they would no longer be watching the show, star Juliette Porter replied: ‘Sorry we picked trying to get rid of racism instead of thinking about your reality tv needs Mariah. You still see all the drama, you just don’t see him.’

Alex’s comments are too vile to show here; however, the screenshots that circulated around social media showed him using the hard ‘r’ to refer to a group of black women along with agreeing with a photo that called President Obama the same racial slur.

Alex’s cousin, Paul, claims that it won’t be the last fans see of him.

This comes after MTV fired Dee Nguyen.

Bravo seems to have started the trend by firing Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute for conspiring to call the police on their former Black co-star out of revenge.

Schroeder’s past comments about the Black Lives Matter Movement, Me Too movement, and ‘Nazi Chic’ photo also resurfaced before the network cut ties with the star.
