U.S. House panel subpoenas career prosecutors over alleged political meddling at Justice Dept

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Democratically-controlled U.S. House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday said it had subpoenaed two career federal prosecutors to testify about the politicization of the Justice Department, including one who worked on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
