Tekashi 6ix9ine has been on top of the media headlines ever since he got out of prison earlier this year. Much to the chagrin of many of his contemporaries, the performing artist has been churning out new singles and IG live videos, many of which have been quite successful, including “GOOBA” and the recently released, “Trollz,” featuring Nicki Minaj.
Hot New Hip Hop reported today that the rapper, who’s most famous for his bizarre antics and rainbow-themed outfits, is slowly moving away from his typical appearence and fashion sense.
The outlet says that the “GOOBA” artist has been collaborating with the stylist of Megan Thee Stallion. For instance, over the last few weeks, Tekashi 6ix9ine has shown off a number of different styles.
In a new TikTok video, the artist wrote in the caption, “TASTE THE RAINBOW,” alongside an image in which he’s eating a bag of Skittles.
Not long after, 6ix9ine goes on to sport a new blue and green hairstyle, meaning, he’s clearly using wigs. Regardless of his new style, the artist has been doing quite well for himself ever since he was dubbed as a “snitch” by the hip-hop and black community.
Not long after he was released from prison after his stint with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, the performing artist dropped a new song, “GOOBA,” which received over 40,000,000 views in under 24 hours. Outlets said at the time that the video even surpassed that of Eminem.
As it was noted above, his return to the rap game has been very eventful, with many rappers viciously criticizing him for ratting out of his former associates in the aforementioned gang. As a consequence of his reputation, many social media users didn’t think that Tekashi 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj would work together.

However, as it turns out, the rumors were true. Nicki Minaj really did travel to a secret location to work with the artist. They then released their next collaborative effort together, “Trollz,” which they claimed broke his previous record.
