Is Gwen Stefani ready to marry Blake Shelton without the blessing of the Catholic Church? There has been numerous rumors surrounding Gwen and Blake since the couple first found love on the set of NBC’s The Voice, where the two were both judges. The two have been dating since November 2015 and fans are excited to see the couple take their relationship to the next level. There have been rumors that the couple secretly wed and are pregnant with twins, but there is nothing that has come close to verifying those reports.
It’s also been stated in multiple outlets that Gwen and Blake are ready to walk down the aisle, but Gwen has been holding back due to her religious faith. According to Us Weekly, Gwen wanted her first marriage to rocker Gavin Rossdale annulled so that she and Blake could have a beautiful wedding in the Catholic Church. Now, a source is saying to the publication that Gwen loves Blake so much, she’s willing to marry him outside of the church.
The source says that though Gwen and Blake were both married previously (this would be the third marriage for Blake) they are so in love and know that this is their forever relationship that it will be like getting married for the first time for both of them.
The source stated the following.
“Gwen and Blake both believe the bond they share is stronger than anything they’ve ever experienced before. When they say their vow this time around, it’ll feel like the first time for both of them, because they’ve never had this kind of soulmate synergy with anyone else.”

The source went on to explain that Gwen is willing to give up her dream church wedding because she loves Blake so much and that he has been an incredible help with her three sons during the lockdown and even homeschooling. Speaking about the children, the source said the following.
“They’re being homeschooled, and Blake has been a tremendous help. It’s made Gwen realize that waiting for an annulment is futile at this point.”
