T.I. Demands Justice For Rayshard Brooks After Wendy’s Drive-Thru Fatal Shooting – Check Out The Rapper’s Passionate Speech!

The rapper spoke in front of the crowd gathered to protest in Atlanta in the aftermath of another police killing of a black American man. As you might have heard, Rayshard Brooks, who was only 27, was fatally shot after the police was called for a suspected DUI and now, T.I. has joined the many who are saying his name in hopes of getting justice!

The rally that TIP attended took place yesterday in Atlanta, where the tragedy also happened and he delivered a very passionate speech in front of the crowd gathered to mourn him and demand justice.

Brooks was reportedly asleep in his car at a Wendy’s drive-thru, the other cars driving around him for a long time before the police was called on a DUI suspicion.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation claims that the 27 year old resisted arrest and tried to run away, only to be fatally shot by an officer.

This new senseless murder sparked a new wave of outrage in the country and especially in Atlanta, many locals gathering to protest.

T.I. told the crowd through a megaphone that: ‘I don’t give a damn what your opinion of the person is. I do not give a damn what he did. The man did not deserve to die like that. Any policeman who stands behind that s**t you are in trouble too, man. We’re going to have to organize. We are going to have to demonstrate but we’re going to have to do it all with purpose. And when I say purpose, I really mean direction. We have to go where we need to go and do what we need to do in those areas.’

He went on to say that: ‘Everyone needs to choose what it is that you need to do, pick your purpose and operate with purpose and with direction. And if you do not do it in the name of Tip, do it in the name of Rashard and all the people who died at the hands of the police. Love and respect. Rest in peace to Rashad. Peace and love to everyone who deserves it.’
