Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput has been found dead in his apartment in Mumbai. The Bollywood star has been called “a bright young actor gone too soon”.
Sushant is known for his Bollywood roles with M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Chhichhore and Kedarnath.
After the news was confirmed by Mumbai police today, many waded in to pay heartfelt tributes to the star online.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on Twitter today: “Sushant Singh Rajput…a bright young actor gone too soon.
“He excelled on TV and in films,” he continued.

Sushant was born in the state of Bihar and pursued his career in acting after dropping out of university to initially study engineering.
The star’s most recent film was Chhichhore, which was directed by Nitesh Tiwari – who mentioned he had spoken to the film star last week.
Nitesh recently told the Press Trust of India: “I am at a loss for words.
