McDonalds open: McDonalds to bring back popular breakfast menu

The popular fast-food chain has recently been opening its doors to customers in their drive-thrus. The restaurants have seen an unprecedented demand for their fast-food with car queues spanning miles. Now, the restaurant chain is planning on offering its breakfast service once again.

“But I know you’ll continue to show the patience we’ve seen all week and I thank you again for your understanding.

“I hope that within a few weeks we will be able to start trialling breakfast service.”

If the full breakfast menu is returning then customers could see the return of McMuffins, bagels, hash browns and pancakes very soon.

The fast-food chain has not revealed where the trial will take place.

There are currently 934 branches of the popular fast-food chain open across the UK and Ireland.

You can check the McDonald’s store locator to see if your local one is open.

The chain recently reopened 238 more of its drive-thrus.

A McDonald’s spokesperson said at the time: “This means every Drive Thru in the UK and Ireland will reopen between Tuesday and Thursday next week and we will start to expand the availability of McDelivery too.”

Restaurants in the UK are not allowed to open until at least July 4.

But takeaway services are allowed to continue.

McDonald’s and other fast-food chains such as Burger King and KFC all closed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
