You are probably aware of the latest police brutality case that’s been making rounds all over social media lately. George Floyd was not armed and he dies when a police officer kneeled on his neck.
According to Sky News, ‘Protesters have clashed with police in the US following the death of an unarmed black man, who pleaded he could not breathe as a white officer kneeled on his neck during an arrest.’

Now, Eva Marcille also decided to speak on the case and she shared more posts on her social media account.
Eva wrote: ‘I’m so enraged… In 2014, #EricGarner’s last words when being strangled to death by NYPD were “I can’t breathe.” 6 years later, #GeorgeFloyd’s last words when being pinned down to death by Minneapolis police were “I can’t breathe, my neck hurts, my stomach hurts, everything hurts, they’re going to kill me.” #BlackLivesMatter #GeorgeFloyd #PublicLynching.’
Someone said: ‘This has to stop it has to come to an end am tired of the nonsense now,’ and one other commenter posted this message: ‘We loved him he was our friend n classmate this has to stop!!! 💔absolutely my family is heartbreak bye this Justice Paul George f Floyd rest in peace.’
Eva continued and posted: ‘#GeorgeFloyd Matters. His life Matters. The manner in which he died Matters. Say his name, speak truth to power. My heart breaks, literally broken…. another, and another and another…. I’m sick, and I cry for you #georgefloyd’
A commenter said: ‘things are getting so bad…but I have faith that the Lord is going to turn things around.’
Someone else posted: ‘It’s crazy and I have yet to see one of my white friends post on what happened but let a dog get killed on tape they will go off just leads me to believe they don’t care as a whole.’
Another follower said: ‘NOISE! I understand that we call compassion fatigued, and doing our best to stay sane mid-COVID. I understand we’re still processing this event and the trauma of it all. But we cannot afford to be silent. We don’t have the luxury of silence. Collectively we must raise our voices to do our part in dismantling these oppressive systems!’
