Webinar | SmallSat 2020 goes virtual. What you need to know.

The 34th Annual Small Satellite Conference scheduled for Aug. 1-6 in Logan, Utah, will be held “in a virtual format with no on-site presence,” conference organizers announced May 8.

“We have determined that this is the best way to continue to support the industry, while ensuring the safety of each of you,” SmallSat Conference Chairman Pat Patterson said in a message posted on www.smallsat.org. “While this format will be different than you are accustomed to, our industry will once again come together this August.”

Patterson, the director of advanced concepts at Utah State University’s Space Dynamics Laboratory, will join SpaceNews Editor-in-Chief Brian Berger and Senior Staff Writer Jeff Foust for 30 minutes on Tuesday, May 12, to discuss the decision and talk about what the smallsat community can expect from this year’s conference.

Anyone interested in SmallSat is encouraged to sign up for our webinar. Registration is free, but space is limited.
