Kate Beckinsale obviously prefers dating younger men and that is totally fine! Right? Well, some people don’t think so and they have been letting her know by leaving hateful comments on social media!
The actress is now clapping back at the haters via an interview for ‘Women’s Health.’ Here’s what she had to say!
As you know, the 46 year old actress is currently seeing 22-year-old musician Goody Grace and she’s sick and tired of the backlash over her love life.
‘It can feel a little bit like a political act to be a woman over 32 who is having any fun at all. And by that, I do not mean doing drugs, drinking and partying, because I never am. But just being goofy, going out, and not just going, ‘Oh my God I am going to sit home and anticipate menopause all while crocheting.’ Unless you are doing that, it somehow seems risque, which is ridiculous to me,’ she told the publication.
Kate noted that there is definitely a double standard happening.
After all, men don’t have to worry about being judged for having fun while at an older age.
She argued that ‘whether that is in relationships, deciding to buy a motorbike, or getting a tattoo. It has not been interpreted as, ‘Why has he not had more children?’ or ‘Is he ever going to become a parent?’ or ‘Why has he had so many girlfriends.’ If everyone is s****ing on you, it can make you feel sort of ugh for a minute — especially if there is nothing wrong.’
Of course, if she was doing something wrong she would get the judgment but the actress stressed that she and other women like her are only living their lives in their ways so they should not get so much attention for it, be it positive or negative.

At the end of the day, it’s really no one’s business but they still seem to think it is!
