It seemed that the root of all Kristen Doute’s problems during the last seasons of Vanderpump Rules was Brian Carter. The reality star is done with him — for good.
Although the T-shirt line-owner always will have a special place in her heart for the photographer’s assistant, she won’t be using him as a crutch anymore because she’s got a brand new man in her life.
According to a report by US Weekly, Kristen’s new beau is real estate owner Alex Menache. Unlike the guys in Doute’s past — he’s ready for the real thing.
‘Alex likes girls with a sense of humor. He’s hilarious. He wants to get married and have soon. He’s from the Valley and he owns a lot of apartment buildings in the L.A. area. He’s not the L.A. type who is friends with lots of celebs though. He has been looking for a wife.’
This comes one month after Kristen revealed to Andy Cohen that she was seeing someone new.
Meanwhile, Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney revealed when and why their friendship with Kristen started to shift.
Apparently, Kristen would complain about Carter off-camera and then defend him on-camera which made them look like bad friends.
Katie explained on the Straight Up with Stassi podcast: ‘It became really difficult when she would defend him so aggressively to us on camera but then off-camera it was a very different situation. She still wanted to have these heart to hearts and a shoulder to cry on and we would still obviously offer that to her because she was our best friend and we still were supportive of her. But then, the next time we talked about it on camera, it was the same thing again where she would be aggressively defending him and coming after us and treating us like we were horrible friends for putting in this position, the position she had put herself in.’
Schroeder added that it was at the season seven VPR reunion that she realized she had enough.
