‘Vanderpump Rules’ Reunion Episode Might Get Shot Virtually Amid The Quarantine And The Cast Hates That Idea

Because of social distancing and the quarantine, the Vanderpump Rules reunion will most likely happen online! Apparently, the cast of the show is not very happy about that!

The producers were planning on filming the reunion episode on April 3 but, obviously, because of the coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic, they ended up postponing it!

Things have not been better since and so, it sounds like it might end up happening virtually, something the cast members are not fans of.

One source tells HollywoodLife that ‘It really is looking that way with a decision coming down any minute. Nobody knows when they’ll be able to film and they know they need to get it done. Everyone’s health and safety is the biggest concern and they won’t take any chances, they’ll wait as long as they can to be able to do it in person, but it is looking less likely with each day that passes due to the coronavirus.’

The cast have never had a virtual reunion of course and are not excited to have one either.

‘Of course, everyone will be bummed out to not do it in person. They really do not want to have to shoot the reunion virtually as the cast is so large and there’s so much to say and that needs to be addressed,’ they went on to dish via the same news outlet.

Obviously, the concept of digitally shooting the reunion is possible thanks to the technology we all have available.

However, it still comes with some challenges, such as the stars trying to talk over each other.

At this point in time, it isn’t decided that this is how things will proceed but if it is, it would not be the only show to do it.

Not too long ago, Andy Cohen announced that the season 12 Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion episode will be shot digitally as well.
