Kandi Burruss has a strong opinion on NeNe Leakes and Wendy Williams’ friendship and she did not hesitate to make it known during her latest Watch What Happens Live interview. As far as the RHOA star is concerned what the two ladies have does not seem ‘real’ at all!
The host, Andy Cohen was the one to ask how she felt about the on again, off again friendship between NeNe and Wendy.
‘If you say that your ‘friend’ is ‘one of those people over there,’ which is the way Wendy describes NeNe, that does not sound like a real friendship to me. You are not supposed to say your friend is the ‘over there’ person. To me, that is someone you associate with sometimes, but you do not really mess with them like that,’ Kandi responded, not holding anything back.
Her comment refers to what Wendy said on her own talk show earlier this month.
As you may know, she discussed a problem she was having with NeNe at the time, during her Hot Topics segment.
It all started with NeNe calling her on speakerphone while she was filming for RHOA even though the host had made it very clear that she did not want to be part of the Real Housewives franchise.
She even tried to FaceTime her and that only got Wendy more upset!
Wendy explained to her viewers: ‘If I don’t [FaceTime] with my own parents, why would I be doing it for someone over there? I like NeNe, but she’s still an ‘over there’ person to me.’
She ended up hanging up on NeNe, angry that she would try to blindside her like that.
Soon after she opened up about their drama on her talk show, NeNe posted a cryptic message on her social media that reads: ‘Public disrespect and private apologies don’t mix.’

At this point in time, it’s still unclear whether or not the two ladies have made up or not.
