The RHOA star took to her social media page to share a worrisome piece of news – her mother, Thelma Ferguson, has been missing! That being said, Sheree Whitfield asked her many followers to pray for her safe return.
According to Sheree, this is ‘the longest’ that her mother has ‘gone without reaching out to anyone’ so she is very understandably concerned.
As it turns out, the reality TV star has been searching for her elderly mom for over two weeks without any success so she’s now resorted to pleading with her fans for prayers.
Whitfield and her family members have last seen the 77 year old Thelma back on March 23, reports WSB-TV.
Along with a pic of her mom, Sheree wrote a very emotional message that reads: ‘Please keep my mom and family in your prayers! We all know prayers can move mountains!!! I was pretty hesitant to post my concerns for my mother’s return because, although I’ve been in contact with the police for the past 2 weeks. I am also pretty private when it comes to family.’
The 50 year old celeb went on to explain that her mother often takes such unannounced trips but never for this long.
‘Also, in the past, my mother has taken personal vacations without letting us know and we respect that side of her. However, this is the longest that she have gone without reaching out to anyone from the family or friends. Right now we’re leaning on God and staying positive and prayerful for her safe return home.’
Sheree continues to work closely with the authorities to find Thelma but she thought that asking her nearly one million followers to pray for her ‘safe return home’ would not be a bad thing either.

Furthermore, she asked people to ‘call Sandy Springs police at 770-551-6923’ if they have any relevant info.
