Pink Criticizes The US For Not Providing Enough Tests After She And Son, 3, Were Diagnosed With COVID-19 – Warns That ‘The Illness Is Serious And Real!’

As fans probably know, singer Pink as well as her 3 year old son, Jameson, have both tested positive for the coronavirus and now, the star is opening up about it while also slamming the current situation in the country which does not allow everyone to get a test. Here’s what Pink had to say!

Pink was confirmed to have the virus after she displayed symptoms and was lucky enough to get a couple of tests for her and her family.

As it turns out, she and her 3 year old son did get infected and now that she’s experienced it, Pink is making it very clear that COVID-19 is very ‘serious and real’ and should be treated as such.

The star took to her platform on Instagram to write a lengthy message that reads: ‘Two weeks ago my 3-year old son, Jameson, and I are were showing symptoms of the COVID-19. Fortunately, our primary physician had access to tests and I tested positive. My family was sheltering at home and we continued to do so for the last 2 weeks following the instruction of our doctor.’

As you know, the singer and her hubby, Carey Hart are also the parents of daughter Willow Sage, 8.

While the diagnosis sounds really scary, especially when it comes to her child, in the meantime, they have both recovered according to the mother of two.

She mentioned that only a few days prior to the post, they were able to get tested again and the result was negative.

Two weeks ago my three-year old son, Jameson, and I are were showing symptoms of COVID-19. Fortunately, our primary care physician had access to tests and I tested positive. My family was already sheltering at home and we continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor. Just a few days ago we were re-tested and are now thankfully negative. It is an absolute travesty and failure of our government to not make testing more widely accessible. This illness is serious and real. People need to know that the illness affects the young and old, healthy and unhealthy, rich and poor, and we must make testing free and more widely accessible to protect our children, our families, our friends and our communities. In an effort to support the healthcare professionals who are battling on the frontlines every day, I am donating $500,000 to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia in honor of my mother, Judy Moore, who worked there for 18 years in the Cardiomyopathy and Heart Transplant Center. Additionally, I am donating $500,000 to the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund. THANK YOU to all of our healthcare professionals and everyone in the world who are working so hard to protect our loved ones. You are our heroes! These next two weeks are crucial: please stay home. Please. Stay. Home.❤️

But that was not all! Pink, who has criticized Donald Trump before, wanted to also use her voice and criticize the current situation in the county.
