Margaret Walker, Aran Clair

Margaret Frances Matilda Walker and Aran Lundgren Clair were married March 25 on the plaza of the Arlington Courthouse in Arlington, Va. Isabel Kaldenbach, a civil celebrant authorized by the Arlington County Circuit Court, officiated. The couple originally planned to marry at the First Presbyterian Church in Nashville before the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended that events with 50 or more be postponed.

The couple met at Princeton, from which they graduated, the bride cum laude.

Mrs. Clair, 32, is a program officer at the National Endowment for the Humanities in Washington. She received a master’s degree with distinction in the history of art, theory and display from the University of Edinburgh.

She is the daughter of Susan W. Walker and J. Otey Walker III of Franklin, Tenn.

Mr. Clair, 33, works in Washington as a managing consultant in IBM’s digital business strategy practice. He received an M.B.A. from George Washington University.

He is the son of Joan-Ellen Clair and Richard C. Clair of Bethany Beach, Del.
