Donald Trump Boasts About Being ‘Number One On Facebook’ And People Think He Should Sort Out His Priorities Amid The COVID-19 Pandemic!

Many people on social media think the president really needs to sort out his priorities amid this scary COVID-19 pandemic that has swept up the whole country, making it the epicenter of the world, which in this case, is not a good thing at all! But while that is happening, Donald Trump is boasting about being ‘number one on Facebook’ so it makes sense people are outraged and shocked.

It all started with the president himself proudly sharing his social media stats, which did not receive much praise or many congratulatory messages but was rather received with confusion and eye rolls!

So while the whole planet is worried about the coronavirus threat, Donald Trump had his mind on other things.

During a press conference yesterday, he asked: ‘Did you know I was number one on Facebook?’ going on to boast that ‘I just found out I’m number one on Facebook. I thought that was very nice. For whatever it means, it represents something.’

What made this statement even weirder, was that it was in response to a question about his worrisome tweets in which he was threatening Iran!

Still, while he might find his Facebook influence an accomplishment, some people were quick to rain on his parade, pointing out that his page has 25 million likes while the former president, Barack Obama has no less than 55 million!

Of course, the Donald did not actually mention in which way he was first on Facebook so people will have to wait for him to maybe come up with something that would point to how much better he is than Obama and everyone else, for that matter!

Either way, the reactions to that video were priceless!

Here are a couple of the tweets on the matter: ‘Yes, because a president being popular on social media’s definitely what a president should be thinking about right now. With Trump, it is always about Trump. The most self serving, narcissistic person I have ever witnessed. ‘ / ‘What is he five years old? I am number one on Facebook! He is a grown man. He needs to focus on job performance and not on Facebook rankings. Right now his job performance is a total failure. He is a failure as a father, spouse, businessman, friend and president.’ Ouch!
