Who hasn’t heard of London’s most acclaimed museum? This tourist magnet is working with Google Arts & Culture and some 2,000 leading institutions so that you can take an interactive tour.
Take a leisurely journey by clicking on artefacts and bone up on their history.

Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam
The beautiful Rijksmuseum, a picture in itself, is choc-full of artwork and masterpieces from the Dutch Golden Age. Though it had to close its doors until 1 June, it’s online initiative Rijksmuseum From Home means you can still visit virtually. Google are involved in this initiative offering the chance to explore 11 “exhibits”, where you’re able to interact with various works from the museum, read about their history and see close-ups of the pieces.
Remember to visit Rembrandt’s The Nightwatch and Vermeer’s The Milkmaid.

Le Musee du Louvre, Paris
Paris’ most famous and larges museum, with its much-loved glass pyramid had to shut its doors when Paris went into lockdown. But you can still take a virtual tour of its Egyptian antiquities or the Galerie D’Apollon, and some others too.

Saunter along the corridors of the Big Apple’s iconic Guggenheim. Get close up
to Catherine Opie’s Self Portrait/Pervert triptych; Ivan Navarro’s installation Homeless Lamp, the Juice Sucker; and Ovitz’s Library by Jonas Wood.
