Lara Brooke Decter and Joseph Solomon Safdeye are to be married March 15 at the Montammy Golf Club in Alpine, N.J. Rabbi Jonathan Morgenstern is to officiate.
Ms. Decter, 25, is a certified physician assistant at the Schweiger Dermatology Group in New York. She graduated from Stern College, Yeshiva University and received a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Mercy College in New York.
She is a daughter of Limor C. Decter and David L. Decter of Lawrence, N.Y.
Mr. Safdeye, 27, is a private equity investor for Delos Capital Management, a middle market private equity firm in New York. He graduated from N.Y.U.
He is a son of Cindy H. Safdeye and Gabriel R. Safdeye of Scarsdale, N.Y.
The couple met 10 years ago at Camp Lavi in Lakewood, Pa. The two reunited in 2015 at the groom’s best friend’s birthday party in New York, and they began dating a month later.
