Guatemala to close borders for two weeks to contain coronavirus

GUATEMALA CITY (Reuters) – Guatemala will close its borders for the next two weeks as part of measures aimed at containing coronavirus, President Alejandro Giammattei said on Monday.

“From tomorrow, we will be cut off from the rest of the world,” he said in a national televised address.
