Former Being Mary Jane actress Gabrielle Union and retired Miami Heat basketball player Dwyane Wade had a gorgeous wedding ceremony in front of many friends and family members.
For the lavish event, Gabrielle opted for a stunning white strapless gown and chose to have her long hair cascading on her shoulders. That was on August 30, 2014.
This week, the actress took to social media where she posted a few never-before-een photos of her wedding dress.
Dwyane also took the opportunity to share a piece of helpful advice with future brides: “Bride 👰🏾 #fbf Wedding photo tip… if you have access to the venue the day before or anytime before the wedding day, use that time to do a dress rehearsal with full hair, makeup, dress and get your solo pics out of the way with zero stress and you don’t leave your guests waiting forever, AND you can see what works and doesn’t work with time to make adjustments. ❤👰🏾🤗”
Halle Berry who was in awe dropped this sweet comment: “LAWD 🔥.”
One woman asked this question: “Chileeeeeeee….ingWell can you pay for me to get full hair and makeup two days in a row? My wedding in September. 😭”
Another lady made the same point: “That’s an extra charge for hair, makeup, and pics… I’ll pass. I’ll just wait until the wedding day.”
This fan had the perfect solution: “Lots of wedding glam teams do trial runs before the day of at no additional cost or minimal cost. Might as well capture it if it is possible. We’ve all heard the wedding day horror stories…just a suggestion. 🤗”
A social media user wrote: “gotta do a trial so they know exactly what works and what you want. On the day of your wedding, you don’t have time to experiment. It is typically standard with the bridal service package. Typically.”
Gabrielle also made the same suggestion: “Many places do trials included in the cost of the day-of hair and makeup. I scheduled mine for the same day I was having my engagement photos done. Switched my hair up a bit (took it down but left the curls and whatnot) but had lashes on and makeup done for the photos.”

The couple, who is often seen as the epitome of relationship goals, met in 2007 and later married in August 2014 after working on some issues.
