Coronation Street spoilers: Nina could be forced to leave the cobbles – here's how

Coronation Street resident Nina Lucas (played by Mollie Gallagher) has struggled to get along with Roy Cropper (David Neilson) ever since she held him responsible for the death of her father and Roy’s long-lost brother Richard (Paul Brown). However, in upcoming scenes, viewers will see Roy and Nina find common ground, but when she starts being bullied by the bat watching group, she could start to question her place in Weatherfield.

Nina has been struggling since she found out Roy wasn’t there when her very sick dad needed him the most.

Roy was just starting to get through to Nina when Richard died and the two have been struggling ever since.

In upcoming scenes, however, Roy will step in when the bat watching group, which they are both now members of, start bulling Nina.

After finding out they have a lot more in common than they initially thought, could it all go wrong once again when Nina starts being bullied?

Next week, Roy will introduce Nina to Herman, Farooq, and Dave who are his bat watching buddies.

However, the members will become suspicious of Nina because of her goth dress sense.

The trio will start making nasty and derogatory comments about Nina behind her back and Roy will be left furious.

Upset, Roy quickly resigns from the group and Brian Packham, (Peter Gunn) follows suit.

But she will quickly confront Roy about the whole mess and he will be forced to tell her everything telling her he was trying to spare her feelings.

Could Nina leave the cobbles for good after Roy’s betrayal or will their relationship grow when she realises the lengths he went to, to keep her from being upset?

Elsewhere on the cobbles, Ali Neeson (James Burrows) is about to come up against Gary Windass (Mikey North) once again, after a one night stand with Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon).

Ali is set to leave Weatherfield at some point soon, but the way he will exit will all depend on whether or not he can get away from Gary in time.

As viewers know, Gary has killed before, but Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) knows about Maria and Ali’s sordid affair.

Gary has already inadvertently caused the death of three characters, as well as murdering his criminal predecessor, Rick Neelan (Greg Wood).

With a very special week of episodes on the horizon for Coronation Street, could Gary get rid of Ali once and for all?

Coronation Street continues on ITV tonight at 7.30pm.
