Yellowstone volcano: USGS records 222 earthquakes across park – Warning sign of eruption?

In February, scientists at the US Geological Survey (USGS) recorded a total of 222 earthquakes in the Yellowstone region.

The earthquakes were accompanied by four eruptions of the world-famous Steamboat Geyser.

The geyser erupted on February 1, 12, 21 and 38, respectively/.

The USGS said: “During February 2020, the University of Utah Seismograph Stations, responsible for the operation and analysis of the Yellowstone Seismic Network, located 222 earthquakes in the Yellowstone National Park region.
